You’ve probably had a variation of these at Starbucks or Costas if you’re reading this – so what Frappè’s are shouldnt need much explanation!
But, in case you don’t know, they’re sort of a thick coffee slushy in a sense…
I know that doesn’t sound too appealing, but trust me, they are!
Check below to find out how to make one.
Ingredients
- 200ml strong coffee , chilled
- 50ml whole milk
- 1-3 tbsp sugar syrup
- ice cubes
- whipped cream or ice cream to serve (optional)

Example from BBC GoodFood.
Method
Take your cooled strong coffee and put it in a blender. Get a half cup full of ice cubes and chuck it in there with the 50ml of milk also.
Add syrup of your choice and blend. A personal favourite is caramel or hazelnut.
Once blended, pour into a glass and top with cream or ice cream.
Simple!
