Grizzlies 111 – 81 Mavericks 2nd March 2019
The Mavericks were dominated by the Grizzlies throughout the entire game last night. It is almost certain that the Mavericks playoff chances have disappeared into nothing.
A strong offensive performance with the lead scorer being Valanciunas, with 20 points. Grizzles also dominated the boards and shared the ball much more efficiently than the Mavericks.
However another strong performance from the Mavericks likely rookie of the year, point guard Luka Dončić.
A tough game to watch, seeing my Mavs get crushed is never nice! They killed us on the rebounds and just passed the ball way more efficiently than we did. When you shoot less than 20% from 3, it’s never a good sign for improving your win total.
We’ve had a really inconsistent season as a team, Luka has been phenomenal and it feels great to have another European player to take the torch from Dirk. Plus, next season we will get to see KP with Luka, very happy about our future right now!
