2022 NBA Finals Warriors Win It In Six

The Golden State Warriors are champions again thanks to a comfortable game six win over the Boston Celtics. This is their 4th title in 8 years and Their Seventh overall. This is some result given that just two yseas9ns ago Golden State had the worst record in the NBA! Still, it’s amazing what getting all your stars back from injury can do. Plus adding a firmer 1st overall pick in Andrew Wiggins to an already strong starting lineup doesn’t hurt.

The Game

Having lost back-to-back games in the postseason for the first time Boston was hoping that their stars would rise to the occasion, however that was not the case. Jaylen Brown did his best to keep the Celtics in it but Jason Tatum had a night to forget! He only managed 13 points and went 1-4 from 3pt range.

Curry on the other hand bounced back from a sub-par game five. He racked up 34 points and shot 6-11 from downtown and was perfect at 4-4 from the Free Throw Line.  Although he will get the accolades he will be the first to acknowledge the part his supporting cast played. Green was again immense in defense scooping up eight defensive rebounds and putting in a couple of blocks. Poole contributed 15 points from the bench and Wiggins was once again impressive at both ends of the court.

Boston only got 5 points from their bench and once they went in 54-39 down at the break it was hard to see any way back. Still given they were 25-25 at one stage in the regular season gettin here was some acgievement.
