Pistons, can they end the 2 game losing streak?

With pistons needing to end their 2 game losing streak in order to avoid any playoff qualification difficulties will they be able to take the win against the Lakers?

My prediction is that, yes they will. Lakers will be facing the Raptors on the 14th which will most likely extend the Lakers losing streak. The pistons being rested after their loss against Heat on the 13th I expect they will be a more dominant force on defence especially on controlling the rebounds that will lead to second-chance points in their favour. I suspect the pace of the game will be fairly even in the first half but pistons will break away late in the 3rd quarter.
