Clippers looked marginally the better team in the first half. However, if there has ever been a game of two halves this was it. Mavs came out on top in the 3rd and the Clippers came back strong in the 4th after finding their rhythm again late in the 3rd. The tie came towards the end of the 4th with Clippers having the final shot that didn’t drop forcing the game into overtime.
With 15 seconds left on the clock, Mavs were up by 2, Clippers sunk a three with great ball movement putting them up by 1 with 9 seconds left.
Clippers defended hard Doncic was forced back way behind the 3 point line, he took a step back and fired, as the ball was in the air they clock ran down and it dropped, a true all or nothing shot. Mavs took the win to tie the series up 2-2.
The battle for a place in round 2 is well under way.
