Not Surprisingly the New Orleans Pelicans drafted Dukes Zion Williamson with the first pick, however trading the number four was the first big move of the night and netted them the number 8 and 17 picks, which got them Jaxson Hayes and a promising Canadian born shooting guard in Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Combine this with the young players picked up in the Anthony Davis trade and the Pelicans could be the team on the 2020s. The Atlanta Hawks did ok out of this too though netting De’Andre Hunter who has the look of a future All-Star about him & Cameron Reddish (who we thought could have gone higher). The Hawks rebuild looks to be nicely on track.
