2022 CFP Rankings Week 14 The Die Is Set For TCU & USC Win And They’re In

The final week of the regular season ended with a few fireworks, however, it had little impact as far as the CFP places were concerned other than to remove Ohio States’ destiny from its own hands. The Buckeye’s fate now depends on how USC & TCU fare in their respective conference finals.

A loss for either Georgis or Michigan would most likely not put them out but could let TCU take the top spot.

Twelve Teams with Three Or More Losses Included!

The AP poll had UTSA included following their impressive 10-2 season which included going 8-0 in conference play. However, the CFP Committee are having none of it and instead prefers NC State which has four losses, including three to unranked teams. One has to wonder what a non-power Five or ACC team will have to do to get a decent ranking from them?

It’s pretty much settled. The only way Ohio State can realistically get in is if either TCU or USC loses. Still, a place in the Rose Bowl will be a nice consolation. We will caveat that though as they might not want a rematch of last year when the Buckeyes played Utah.

Anyway, the week’s rankings are below…
