Idaho State Bengals fans will long remember 6/10/2018 not only for their comfortable win over local rivals Idaho, but also for the scoring feat of QB Tanner Gueller. The Bengals QB threw for an impressive 8 touch downs including one for 87 yards as they beat the Vandals 62-28 in front of a sell out crowd of 11,015.
As well as the 87 yard effort he also connected from 62 yards and 29 yards; the renmaining ones all being from inside the red zone.
Gueller’s effort has only been bettered twice in FCS history with Willie Totten (Mississippi Valley vs. Kentucky State) in 1984 & Drew Hubel, (Portland State vs. Weber State) 2007 having both thrown 9 in a game.
