2018 Liberty Bowl Big 12  v SEC

This could be one of the seasons higher scoring bowl games and also one of the most unpredictable given that you never know which Oklahoma State will turn up – the one that beat Texas and West Virginia or the one who got drubbed by Texas Tex and lost to Kansas State. They ended up 6-6 but competed in their other losses going down by a point to Oklahoma and were within a TD in their other losses. On their day they would give virtually any FBS team plenty to think about.

Missouri pretty much did what was expected of them this year – bet the teams they were expected to and lost where they weren’t. They went 8-4 and this included a resume win over Florida and losses to Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky all of which were expected. The only blot was a narrow loss to South Carolina 37-35.

Both sides racked up the yards on offence, however, given that defence seemed an afterthought in the Big 12 this season that is not too surprising where OSU is concerned. The fact that Missouri managed to rank 16th overall is a surprise given the SEC featured some stout defensive lines this year and this might be enough to give them the edge.

Our prediction is for Missouri to win 28-21.
