Call Of Duty Releases Battle Royale Game Mode

Activision has released a “battle royale” game mode under the Call of Duty franchise, and it is said to rival that of the likes of Fortnite and PUB G.

“Warzone” is free to play for everyone, even if you don’t have the latest Call of Duty game, which has surprised a lot of gamers. It’s free on all platforms, including Xbox, PC and PS4, and is expected to become very popular like its rivals, as these sorts of games are very social, competitive and interactive – not including the fact its made by Activision, who make quality games.

“What Call of Duty Warzone brings to the table is a triple threat since it’s tied to a very popular franchise,” said Doron Nir, CEO of livestreaming services provider StreamElements. “There hasn’t been a big new battle royale game in a while, and it’s free-to-play.”

This isn’t the first time Call of Duty released a battle royale-type game mode, they initially released one in 2018 after seeing the success of Fortnite, but it came with a £45 price tag, as you could only access it through Call of Duty Black Ops, a paid game.

Although the game is free, it will incorporate other elements of Fortnite such as purchasable items and upgrades, but as of yet its not clear if these purchases will give you any competitive advantage over other players.

Viewers of livestream gaming spiked in China in February as large parts of the country were put under quarantine due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

“Any kind of stay at home entertainment companies has a potential to benefit from this,” said Mr Hershey, Chief Executive of an investment company.

The game’s map is also large, with 300 points of interests.

We have been informed that Warzone does seem to have some features that set it apart from similar games. Gamers will be able to save their positions and restart on different consoles allowing players to maintain their progression in the game. You can also work for in game upgrades, rather than buying them, but developers and such have said that no one makes a game without the intention of making money; this game is aimed at those more mature and who have deeper pockets, sources suggest.

But if battle royale games aren’t for you, feel free to purchase the latest Call of Duty game below.
