Pele Speaks On “Health Issues”

Brazilian legend Pele has came out and said his health issues were “normal for people of my age” since his son claimed he was reluctant to leave his house.

Pele’s son Edinho said the 79 year old was “embarrassed” because he needed a frame to assist him when walking because of his hip problems. But Pele, the only player to ever win 3 wold cups, has came out and said: “I am good. I continue to accept my physical limitations in the best way possible but I intend to keep the ball rolling.”

Pele scored a record 1,281 goals in 1,363 appearances for club and country during his career, including 77 goals in 91 appearances for Brazil.

His health over the past few years has slightly worried a few fans, with him having an infection last year and having prostate surgery in 2015.

Despite the claims from his son, friends of the legend have said that January 2020 has been the busiest in years.

“I am not avoiding fulfilling the commitments in my always busy schedule,” he said.

“I have good days and bad days. That is normal for people of my age. I am not afraid, I am determined, confident in what I do.”
