England Manager Gareth Southgate says he is “conflicted” about his role as England manager after his loss in the World Cup quarter finals and has “found large parts of the last 18 months difficult”.
Southgate has created one of the best England sides in recent years. Making it to theĀ semi finals, finals and the quarter finals in the last 3 major tournaments.
The England side went up against former winners France in the quarter finals of the World Cup and lost 2-1. This was a great game for England, however no the result they were after.
Garth Southgate has now came out and stated that he doesn’t know if he will continue his time at England.
“I don’t want to be four, five months down the line thinking I’ve made the wrong call,” Stated Southgate.
Gareth was appointed England manager in 2016 and led England through to many finals during his time.
