Sonar Image of a Megalodon?
The sea is still unexplored, with a lot of things to discover. Megalodon’s are one of the sea’s ancient mysterious, as many people believe that this creature is still lurking in the ocean today! There is a lot more interesting theories about the ocean. Only 5 to 10% of our ocean is explored, meaning 90% is still unexplored. With this in mind, there is a possibility of a Megalodon still our their and many other sea creatures that we have yet to see! There has been a lot of fake images about the Megalodon, however there has been a recent image that has been circulating around the internet of a real Megalodon on a Sonar Image.
This image claims to show a 50 foot shark spotted on the Sonar images. There is a strange creature that seems to be their. Looks like a shark! The image has been taken by the Atlantic Shark Institute, this was made possible by technology that allowed them to see what’s under the boat, to their surprise they saw this image and this was then circulating around the internet. They did however write a post about their findings on their Instagram, which is where the image was first discovered and in that post stated what it was!
This image that claims to show proof of the Megalodon has been exanimated and found out to be another fake! This is actually a different creature! What creature is it? To your surprise, the identity of this creature was actually a school of Mackerel that hung round the boat in a shark like shape before leaving, here is what they had to say!
We waited for one of the rods to go off however, much to our disappointment, the shape started to transition into a large school of Atlantic mackerel that hung around the boat for about 15 minutes.
So close, but so far! The Megalodon (Otodus megalodon), disappeared more than 3 million years ago and will likely stay that way, but, for a few minutes, we thought he had returned!
Another day, another fake! One of these days we will see the truth about the Megalodon, however right now, we have to assume that the “Meg” is in fact not living in the ocean, until discovered!
