Danny DeVito
Danny DeVito was born on the 17th November 1944 in New Jersey. He grew up in a family of five with two older sisters.
Danny DeVito Personal Life
He met his future wife, Rhea Perlman, early in his career when he appeared in plays produced by the Westbeth Playwrights Feminist Collective. Pearlman had gone to see a play that her friend was in called “The Shrinking Bride”, the pair hit it off and they moved in together two weeks later. They met in 1971 and were married in 1982, they have three children together Lucy Chet DeVito, Grace Fan DeVito and Jacob Daniel DeVito. DeVito and Pearlman have separated twice, once in 2012 and again in 2017. They remain good friends.
DeVito is well known for his stature, his height is a result of multiple epiphyseal dysplasias (Fairbank’s disease), which affects bone growth.
Career
Danny DeVito has an extensive history of film work. He has appeared in 90+ films and has appeared in numerous T.V. shows. He is well known for playing Louie De Palma in “Taxi” and Frank Reynolds in “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia“, alongside Rob McElhenney, Genn Howerton, Charlie Day and Kaitlin Olson.
He has made numerous other T.V. appearances in shows such as “Starsky and Hutch”, “Sesame Street”, “The Simpsons”, “Friends” and “The Kominsky Method”.
