Chris Pratt - Bio

Chris Pratt was born on the 21st of June 1979 in Virginia, Minnesota. He is the youngest of three children to Kathleen Louise and Daniel Clifton Pratt. When Pratt was seven years old, the family moved to Lake Stevens, Washington. Whist there, Pratt placed fifth in a high school state wrestling tournament, and he later recalled that when his wrestling coach asked him what he wished to do with his life, he said,"'I don't know, but I know I'll be famous and I know I'll make a shit ton of money.' He graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1997.

After dropping out of Community College, Chris Pratt started working as a discount ticket salesman and a stripper. He ended up homeless in Mauri, Hawaii living in his van and occasional camping on the beaches. Whilst in Maui, he worked for Christian missionary organization Jews for Jesus.

At the age of 19 whilst waiting tables in Mauri he was discovered by actress and director Rae Dawn Chong. Chong cast him in her directorial debut, horror film Cursed Part 3 Which was released in 2000. This brought Pratt to Los Angeles and started to get work in TV. In 2002 he obtained his first major role in Everwood as Bright Abbot, but this was cancelled after one season. In 2006 Pratt Joined the cast or The O.C. In 2008 he was cast alongside James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie in the hit assassin movie Wanted.

His big break however came in 2009 when he appeared as Andy Dwyer on the NBC comedy series Parks and Recreation. Pratt was only meant to have a short role on the program however, due to his likability was asked to be a series regular. In 2014 he shot to stardom after the films The Lego movie and Gaurdians of the galaxy were released. In the Lego Movie he plays to voice of Emmett, the average joe turned master builder. In Guardians of the Galaxy he plays Peter Quill AKA Starlord, the captain of a renegade team of space pirates an adaptation from the Marvel Comics Series. Both Films saw him reporise the roles in sequels and the role as Peter Quill returning in The Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, Peter Quill will also be making an appearing in the upcoming Marvel film Thor: Love and Thunder.

In 2014 he appeared as the main role of Owen Grady in Jurrassic World which he will later reprise the role another two times with Jurassic World: Dominion due to be released in 2022.

Chris Pratt: Relationships and Family

Pratt met Anna Faris the American comedian in 2007, they were engaged in 2008 and Married in 2009. Farris give birth to their son Jack in 2012. The couple split in 2017 and they divorced in eary 2018. In that same year he met  Katherine Schwarzenegger the eldest daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger. They began a relationship and in 2019 announced their engagement in the same year they were married. In 2020 they brought into the world their daughter Layla Maria.
