After spending 13 seasons as a Chelsea player, winning over 10 major trophies for the club, he has finally returned back to his loved club, however he is named Chelsea manager! He has signed a 3 year contract with the club and now has a permanent stay at Chelsea and is willing to make some major changes to the starting eleven and to the team in general!

The 41 year old has said he will be giving some of the youth players time on the pitch since Chelsea was known for not allowing young players a chance to shin in the starting eleven, we have seen many youth players shock the world recently and since Chelsea hasn’t given them time to play, they dont know if they have the next Messi! We have seen the likes of Mbappe, De Ligt, Joao Fliex and De Jong, come from the youths and prove they are already one of the best players in the world. De Ligt could be the next best defender in the world.
Many fans and even players have agreed that Lampard is the perfect man for this job. Even though Chelsea have a transfer ban, many fans and players believe Lampard will still manage to sort Chelsea out and win the league with his former club! Chelsea will be expected to pay £4m to Derby in compensation for Lampard leaving. “Everyone knows my love for this club and the history we have shared, however my sole focus is on the job in hand and preparing for the season ahead.” Lampard said after sealing the deal with Chelsea!
