After 1 season at PSG, Buffon has decided to go back to his Italian team, Juventus. He spent 17 years with Juventus before leaving and joining PSG. Buffon was one of the best Italian keepers in the beautiful game, he kept Juventus in loads of games before leaving for PSG and now he is going back to his beloved club to stay until he retires from football. He announced he was leaving PSG on the 5th June 2019 and then underwent medical with Juventus on Thursday morning.
The 41-year-old goalkeeper got offered the captains armband and his number 1 shirt back, however Buffon rejected it and has now got a number 77 shirt and Bonucci is still the captain of Juventus.

Buffon will be Juventus’s third free transfer of the summer! They have already signed Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot from a free transfer. Juventus are known for getting players for free from other clubs, however, will they all perform like Juventus would like them to or will they flop under pressure?
