Chelsea went up against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup on the 30th October 2019 to see who would go to the next round. Everyone was expecting to lose the game by more goals than the game actually gave, since the first time they went to war, Manchester United won 4-0 the first time these two went up against each other and every fan thought this would be the same, however Chelsea have improved and has managed to decrease the score line very easily! This could have been Chelsea’s redemption, however this never happened!
The first half was eventful, with Manchester United anyway. Manchester United was given a penalty in the 25th minute and Marcus Rashford scored and made the game 1-0. Nothing else happened until the 61st minute and Chelsea scored to make it 1-1, Batshuayi making it 1-1. This wasn’t the end… Rashford was given a free kick in the 73rd minute… No one expected him to score an unreal goal, however he scored a great goal that was almost the same as Ronaldo back in the Ronaldo days! The score ended 2-1!
Frank Lampard will be needing to understand his team more and more to go up against big teams like Manchester United because right now its seeming like Chelsea are losing against big teams only and not having much time to win the game! Lampard will be hoping the transfer window in January will make his team way better!
