Manchester Utd, Premier League

Are Manchester United Good Enough?

Are Manchester United Good Enough?

These past few years, Manchester United haven’t been at there best! They have struggled in the Premier League and haven’t been able to replicate what they did when Sir Alex Ferguson was there manager. For example, they haven’t kept up their form from previous years, in the 2012 to 2013 season, Manchester united managed to win the Premier League with 89 points, 11 points clear from second. The next season they managed to go down to 7th! Didn’t make the cut! Manchester United have got a top-quality team and they have a lot of money to spend each transfer window, meaning they could sign some top-quality players if they needed to! Jose Mourinho has got to pick up the pace with this team otherwise there is no chose other than to sack the man and get another manager to replace him! Overall throughout every season Manchester united has been in the Premier League, they have managed to get themselves 2122 points! They are top of that table! If they keep up their bad run of form… they will be overtaken by Arsenal!

Position Team Played Points
1 Manchester United 1011 2122
2 Arsenal 1011 1908
3 Chelsea 1011 1886

From the 1990s to the 2000s, Manchester United managed to be consistent, by going 1st and 2nd only throughout them years! Sir Alex was no joke! He was voted one of the best managers of each year and continued to be one of the best managers until he retired! Manchester United need a manager like him again, they can’t win many games and there constantly going up and down the table each year. Jose needs to change stuff up at United if he wants them to perform well and still be known as the Special One! Jose is a great manager but seems to slip after winning a title, turns from hero to zero in 2 seasons. Will he stay at United this season? Or will he get sacked like others who failed?
