Coach Calls Mason Greenwood “Ridiculous”

A Manchester United Coach commented on Mason Greenwood’s “ridiculous” training sessions.

For a young player, there seems to be a lot expected of Mason Greenwood. He’s scored an impressive 12 goals in first team performances this season – despite only being 18 years old.

Coach Fortune, whos also an ex united player, commented on how impressed he was by Greenwood’s ability, especially his ability to use both feet, saying it’s almost impossible to tell whether he’s left or right footed.

‘There’s not many players in world football that are able to go both ways like Mason does. Equally, left and right foot, he’s ridiculous,” Fortune said.

“I thought he was left-footed and then he takes penalties with his right! And I’ve seen him take a free-kick with his right foot, his left foot.

“I’m like ‘what’s wrong with you!? Just pick one! Are you okay?’”

Ole could be the perfect manager for Mason, and the current Manchester United team. Fortune agrees with this, as Ole really believes in the youth there, and even as a Liverpool fan, I recognise the youth talent at Manchester United – it’s impressive.

“Mason is fortunate he’s got Ole as a manager,” said Fortune. “Obviously there’s all the coaches he’s had through his youth-team career but he couldn’t ask for a better manager because Ole’s done it at the highest level.”

Despite having some development to go through physically, Ole believes Mason is a quality player, and says he’s the best finisher at United currently.

“He is the best finisher we have. He is only 18,” Ole said.

“Not like Wayne Rooney – he still has a young body. In a couple of years’ time he will be almost the complete forward.”
