This was, by far, one of the best games of the season! Both teams went for it, both teams gave it their all, but the game ended with the score being 1-1, however, one goal was scored that could have changed the game for Liverpool! Mane’s goal! When looking back at it, you can see where the linesman got it wrong. He didn’t notice Firmino was in front of Mane, or he didn’t know Firmino touched the ball! Either way, the goal should have been given therefore being 2-1 to Liverpool! If Liverpool were to win this game, they would have been second in the league right now! This is exactly what VAR was made for, so, the ref should have looked at the VAR and seen that it wasn’t offside and should of gave Liverpool their well-deserved goal! Liverpool have been in top form this season and probably have the best front three in the league, no doubt about it! Saido Mane’s goal should have stood! He was clearly behind the ball… VAR should have been used to double check that Mane was offside!
