So within the game of summoners war there are 5 different elements and those elements are is Fire, Wind, Water, Dark and Light. The most common elements are Fire, Wind and water and these are the most common so in terms of countering other units this is the circle that you need to know Fire is strong against Wind and then Wind is strong against Water and Water is strong against Fire. That is the basics to know about these units.
In terms of Light and Dark they are only strong against each other but are neutral against the other three elements and the other three elements are neutral against the light and dark units.
There honestly not much more I can say but make sure you pay attention to elements. If there is an element vs the same element it will neutral against each other.
