Michael Cera was born in Brampton, Ontario Canada on the 7th June 1988. He is the middle child of three and has two sisters Jordan and Molly. His father is Sicilian and his mother has Iris, Dutch, Scottish and English ancestry.

Most known for his role as Evan in Superbad, Paulie Bleeker in Juno or George Michael Bluth in Arrested Development, however, Cera has had an extensive career starting from an early age. His early career started with appearing in commercials and then moving on to children's tv programs.

Cera soon progressed into film appearances including Switching Goals alongside the Olsen twins and Confessions of a dangerous mind as the young Chuck Barris.

His role in arrested development came in 2003 where he plays George Michael Bluth the son of Michael Bluth, played by Jason Bateman. The show follows the dysfunctional Bluth family and their family business. Despite the show's critical acclaim, the show was cancelled by Fox after 3 seasons, 6 years later filming started again after the series was taken over by Netflix and has run for a further 2 seasons totalling 5.

In 2007 Cera was cast to play Evan alongside Jonah Hill in Superbad, a movie about two teenagers efforts to bring alcohol to a party and have sex go hilariously wrong. Cera, in the same year, appeared in Juno after the success of both films Cera became a household name and has been in a vast array of TV Series and Films since.
