7th June - On this Day

What does the 7th June have to offer, well on this day...

Malta Celebrates National Day or Sette Giugno in Maltese.

On this day in 1965 in Griswold v Connecticut, the Supreme Court guaranteed the right to privacy, including the freedom from government intrusion into matters of birth control, a huge step forward for women rights in America. Also staying in America June the 7th marks 'Boone Day' a celebration of the day in 1767 when Daniel Boone, America's most famous frontiersman, reportedly first sighted the land that would become Kentucky.
