Deandra Reynolds
Deandra Reynolds is a fictional character in the show “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” portrayed by Kaitlin Olson.
In the first season of “It’s always Sunny in Philadelphia” Deandra known as “Sweet Dee” or “Dee” is a moderately conservative character, and she was created to be the voice of reason for the gang, however as she develops she becomes more involved with the gang’s exploits and morally questionable antics.

Personal Life of Deandra Reynold
Deanda is the twin of Dennis Reynolds, of which they have a very dysfunctional relationship, from ridiculing each other, to taking crack cocaine together. She is the daughter to Frank Reynolds; however, it later turns out that Frank is not the father to Dennis and Deandra.
Deandra is the bartender at ‘Paddy’s Pub’ the bar owned by Dennis, Mac and Charlie. She is referred to as Dee or Sweet Dee. She is often referred to as a bird or looking like a bird by members of the gang.
Character development
As the seasons develop, you learn that she was ridiculed often in high school as she required a back brace due to her scoliosis. She was therefore dubbed the “Aluminium monster”. Her main friend at school is Ingrid “Fatty Magoo” Nelson, Matthew Mara AKA “Cricket” is deeply infatuated with Dee in school and in early episodes of the show. She was teased often by her mother about her appearance. Consequently, she enters beauty pageants to prove her mother wrong. Both Dee and Dennis become very spoiled due to spending their childhood in luxury, and they often refer to themselves as upper-class. Due to their spoiled behaviour, Frank teases them at Christmas and repeatedly ruins the day for them.
Dee dropped out of the University of Pennsylvania, where she had intended to major in psychology, she then decides that she wants to become an actress. She often calls on her acting skills by creating characters and impressions in multiple episodes of the show.
Dee sees herself as a knowledgeable, humourous and cultured individual. However, the reality is that many don’t find her funny, and she comes across as racist on multiple occasions. Often when put under pressure, she dry-heaves especially when it comes to her stand-up comedy.
Relationships
Dee is unable to find any meaningful relationships in her adult life, and she has several one night stands, it is also later discovered that she has slept with Charlie. Dee often uses relationships for nothing else than personal gain.
Deandra becomes a surrogate mother for Carmen and her partner. Carmen is a transgender woman whos once had a relationship with Mac before she had her sex change.
