Amazon Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablet – Review

Amazon Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablet – Review

After a good few years of fighting the fire and refusing to buy our children Tablets. Last Christmas we took the plunge.

Why did we choose the Kindle Fire 7?

One of the biggest sellers for us was the two-year no-worry guarantee. However, to justify having a product for 4 years minimum it had to have the performance to match the lifespan.

The Amazon Fire 7 has a 7" screen, 16GB of storage and a fairly impressive 7 hours of battery life.

On top of the Fire 7 itself it is well worth subscribing to the fire for Kids unlimited

This gives your children unlimited access to free movies games, books and educational apps. This also give you a wider range of Parental control with some really clever features.

The product starts from £1.99 per month but the highest price is £3.99 per month per child

Tips for using the Amazon Fire 7

My first tip is to make sure you get an SD card to support the 16GB storage. If your child is anythng like mine, they will fill up the storage in no time, not just with apps but also photos and videos.

Second tip, make full use of the parental controls. They are very usefull for limiting play time and shutting down at bed times automatically. These setting can also be easily overidden for when you may be travelling late at night.

Last tip, don't even tell the kids that cover is removeable. Our fire has been dropped, kicked, spilt on and has taken a tumble down the stairs. The case makes the Fire built to last and is very durable. so make the most of it.
