Over the past few days, the UEFA have gotten together to discuss plans about changing the location of the Champions League final match from Russia.
This is due to the overcoming concerns about Russia going up against Ukraine. As a war breaks out between the two, this location isn’t the best spot for a football game to take place in. This has been happening for a few days now, with Russia declaring war on Ukraine recently.

It is believed that UEFA has decided to change the Final match of the Champions League to Paris instead of Russia. The UEFA released a statement about this.
“Together with the French government, Uefa will fully support multi-stakeholder efforts to ensure the provision of rescue for football players and their families in Ukraine who face dire human suffering, destruction and displacement.”
So far, it’s the third year on the trot where the final game of the Champions League has changed locations due to some actions that have taken place in the past 3 years.
