
Since the arrival of Frank Lampard as manager, a lot of things have changed in the way Chelsea Football Club operate and the way they have started players and keeping players on, more youngsters are getting chances and some of the brightest stars are getting higher wages. Even though the Premier League season hasn’t started yet Lampard is wanting to keep loads of players and keep them happy and try players in different positions! He has changed Chelsea and he’s only been in charge for a month or so.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has a new contract.
Callum Hudson-Odoi was one of Chelsea’s rising stars and before Lampard was in charge, he never got an opportunity to show how good he really was and how good he could get. He wasn’t the only one either. He was fed up and handed in a transfer request, however this has all changed since Frank Lampard has become manager. Hudson-Odoi now has a new contract which allows him to get £180,000 a week and is now set to stay at Stamford Bridge. Bayern Munich were the team willing to sign him for £22.5 million however, he is staying at Chelsea now!

Tammy Abraham the new number 9.
The number 9 shirt for Chelsea has been named the cursed shirt number, due to some footballing legends ruining their form and never became the best footballers at Chelsea. Most notable Fernando Torres, Chelsea spent £50 million for him from Liverpool and he was considered world class, however he flopped at Chelsea! Same with Morata, however Lampard has named Tammy Abraham as the new number 9 at Chelsea. He has now been given time to play and has proven he’s good enough for the first team, after his goal against Barcelona. Will he Flop like Torres?
Two youngsters impress Frank Lampard.
Lampard isn’t easily impressed by certain footballers, however these two have given a great impression towards Lampard and now has first team ambition and could stay on the first team for the rest of the season. Mount, the centre attacking midfielder, has already impressed Lampard and could be a regular start. Abraham, he’s been given the number 9 shirt so he will be starting a lot more often that other players.
