6 Players Tested Positive for Coronavirus!

Covid-19 has taken over 250,000 lives and over 1,900,000 people have recovered from the virus. Even though football players are returning to training, they are not getting away with not being tested. Non-contact training is what is currently happening in the world of football, meaning no players are allowed to be close to each other due to the virus, however there are some questions in general about this. If they are doing non-contact training, why would they be allowed to play a match when they get close to other players? Is there any reason to do non-contact training?

One player and two members of staff has been tested positive for Covid-19 at Watford and the assistant manager Ian Woan have been tested at Burnley. There are still more to come and still more that could be tested positive for the virus. “He will remain in close communication with club personnel regarding his re-engagement in training once he is clear of the virus,” Burnley football club said.

Deeney said to Eddie Hearn and Tony Bellew on the talk the talk show on YouTube “We’re due back in this week. I’ve said I’m not going in, It only takes one person to get infected within the group and I don’t want to be bringing that home. My son is only five months old. He had breathing difficulties, so I don’t want to come home to put him in more danger.” Which is a great point and something that everyone should think about!
