The Ballon d’Or is one of the most prestigious awards a football can win, there has been a lot of great footballers who have won this award, however, the two main footballers are Ronaldo and Messi. Since they have been footballers, no one else has had a chance of winning this award… Here are two possible winners this time around!
Haaland!
One of the greatest players right now and proving to be a great asset to his team. The Dortmund player has proven that he has what it takes to win the Ballon d’Or and has proven to be one of the greatest strikers right now.
Currently having 16 goals in 14 matches in the year 2021-22 season and even last year, he had an amazing season, scoring 27 goals in 28 matches for his club. He could be this year’s Ballon d’Or winner.

Mbappe!
Now, this could be a hard decision for everyone… Mbappe is named the next Henry and has been incredible for a number of years, with PSG wanting to keep him and offering him £1 million a month just to keep him at the club.
He is currently only 23 years old and proving he can be one of the best players in the world by the time he is 26 years old, however this season he hasn’t been in top form but he has been in great form nonetheless.
