None the Wiser
The episode begins in what seems to be a conference and Mina is in the spot light answering question, it seems to be some mistakes have been by Mina however Dr Bell get dragged into and he tris to thing about what went wrong. While a woman is insistent on asking how these errors occurred.
The show then begins to proceed to do a flash back 12 hours prior, this allows us to see what had happen thought out the day, the flashback starts showing us a patient who believes he has cancer which we find out he doesn’t however he does have something wrong with his testicle. He find out he has to remove one of his testicle, he was to double check he was able to have kids and he is able to so he found it easier to put his mind at rest.
In the next scene it is shown a large group of surgeon having a meeting about doing multiple surgeries at once in order to make more money for the hospital.
The scene then goes to Mina in her own home showing incredible concentration on her as she is making a beautiful red gown. When she get called into world only for her to roll her eyes it must’ve of been her day off.
We then switch to Conrad who is shown talking to Devon and taking him to one of his favorite patients, he ever met. The patient is clearly know by many doctors and the reason behind that is had gotten many of weird object stuck up his rectum. This time the patient had came into the ER with a syrup bottle stuck up his rectum.
We then switch too a scene where we see a very stubborn mother who is clearly sick but is being difficult however her son is persistent in getting her the help she needs to get better. She find out she has high blood pressure.
We then switch back to the man looking at fake testicles to replace his bad one they seem to have a little fun and joke as they decide to make a decision. The man seems to have a very supportive partner which is great.
The next scene is shown going back over to the man with a syrup bottle stuck up his rectum and Devon has the unfortunate job of attempting to remove it with out surgery first, while the patient talks about his life casually.
We eventually get a small look into Conrad pass finding out he has no mother and how she died when he was young and his father he hated him, saying no one would want him as a father. Nic tries to find out why he hates her dad.
We find out that Dr Bell will being doing two surgeries at the same time, both the patient are two male patients, however the one of the surgeons one the team is still on 30 hours of no sleep which seems deadly.
As the surgeries begin everything seems to be running smoothly, however the one surgeon who was already over worked passes out in the middle of surgery causing a massive bleed, they rush to get Mina to help them start fixing mistake the surgeon that passed out mistakes.
We see Mina getting a little bit over her head as she here trying to run three surgeries at once, the OR are in complete chaos as Mina and Dr Bell try to get everything under control fast and make sure everything is okay on multiple levels. It is very clear that Mina was under a serve amount of stress that complication can occur.
We then come across to current time and Mina takes everything on her shoulders all the mistakes while others try to help and defend her, Dr Bell tries to cover Mina and simply tell everyone she wasn’t really for all that responsibilities in one go.
Review
This episode was a whirlwind of emotion and chaos learning more and more about hospital finances and just how things can get very complicated. It was overwhelming some of the stories you just simply fell in love and had an enjoyable time though out the whole show.
