Review

This movie is mainly based on the life of a school girl rising from nothing to something within a matter of a year, showing how complicated some stuff can be as a teenage girl and how things can easily change throughout the year. For example, in the first movie, Jodi was a typical girl who got bullied for her height and fancied a man she shouldn't have and then at the end, overcame her fear and managed to get popular by telling everyone she loves herself and loves her height. The second is based around the complications of being popular and trying to keep everyone in your life while you still work on some stuff, for example, lead in a play and her boyfriend was the issue!

For the most part, this movie didn't reach my expectations as the movie was easy to understand after a while of watching. The acting was good in my opinion, however, others were off and it was clear to see how off it was. Overall I would give this movie a 7.5/10. Not as bad as I would have expected however the plot of it worked out.

Tall Girl 2 does capture what it's like to be in a high school with someone that hates you trying to end your career, while you try to keep all things in check, it does have a great storyline but an easy one at that. Some parts of the movie were funny and well written as others seemed rushed. For example, Stig managed to get back into the friendship group after almost ending Jodi's school life.

Some parts were good, for example, the tension between characters and some of the character development, like Kimmy, her development was great to see and amazing at that! Jodi's development went well and so was Dunkleman's but others seemed off.

For me, the movie wasn't as bad as others are making out, others can make this movie to be worse than it actually is and I would happily give this a 7.5/10 and or a 3.5/5!
