According to experts, some of those benefits are improved brain function, increased vocabulary, greater general knowledge, and better writing skills. To quote the famed 17th-century French philosopher, mathematician, and scientist, Rene Descartes – “The reading of all good books is like a conversation with the finest minds of past centuries.”
