Everyone and anyone want to buy a top of the range phone, from iPhones to Samsung galaxy’s, everyone is hoping and praying that a new flagship phone is cheap to buy and or cheap to get on a contract, however with new phones being released… it will be one of the most expensive phones on the market. For example, the new Samsung Fold was over £1,000 and over £90 on contract. Some people will go for the cheaper version of a phone to see if it what they are wanting to use in the future, however, this phone was released a year and a few months ago and could still compete with some of the flagship phones out there.
The Google Pixel 3a. This phone was released on the 10th of May 2019 and could still be one of the best phones in my opinion. Costing me just under £30 a month, I think that that’s a bargain, however, others may disagree. This phone has been at its peak and gone due to Google releasing the Google Pixel 4 and 4a and now releasing a new phone called the Google Pixel 5. But this phone could still be a winner in 2020. With the introduction of 5G it will be hard for it to keep up but here are the specs of the device and my experiences with this incredible phone after only a couple of months of use with it.
Google Pixel 3a comes in with a display resolution of 1080 x 2160 and comes in at a size of 6 inches. The CPU is an octa-core processor with a GPU known as Adreno 615. Internally, it has 4GB of RAM and a max memory of 64GB. The cameras are impressive with the main camera being 12.2 Mega Pixels and the front-facing being 8 Mega Pixels with the back camera having 4K 60 FPS and the front having 1080p 30 FPS, Frames per second.

My time with this phone has been incredible. The phone is very responsive and has all the apps that normal businessmen may need if they use a google based operating system or use google based product which is great if someone is traveling a lot and needing to do some work and they use something like Google Docs and or Google Sheets and even Google Analytics. The only issue I have encountered is sometimes, maybe once a week, it’ll stop Spotify working off the app, meaning I would want to use the app and Spotify would stop working no matter what.
Other than that… this Phone is worth paying for and worth the money. Currently paying £27 a month.
