Apple Watch Series 4: After a Day

Apple Watch Series 4: After a Day

Recently, I picked up the new 44mm Series 4 Apple Watch in space grey.

I say recently; I ordered it from EE almost a month ago. But after multiple postage delays its finally here, and its pretty amazing. I’ve previously owned a series 1 38mm aluminium Apple Watch, I eventually ended up selling it because it was slow, impractical and ugly (in all honesty), but the series 4 is like a totally different product. Its noticeably thinner, has a brighter display, and has a cleaner and slicker finish. The entire back of it is now ceramic, meaning phone calls are better quality as the old metal back would interfere with the connection; it also looks way better. Apple have also gone as far as to curve the screen and push it right to the edges to make it 30% larger compared to the older models. They’re now available in 40mm and 44mm compared to older models being only 38mm and 42mm. The overall responsiveness of the screen is great too, and I love the new haptic crown. Its a great feature to have it click as if its a real mechanical watch! The quality that makes the watch so great is the brightness; there’s so much clarity and sharpness to everything its just stunning, you can tell Apple have really sat down and through about how they’re going to improve the product (which is a breath of fresh air).

The only issue I have with the watch is the battery seems to be pretty “Apple” which i was not expecting as people seem to be praising it a lot. But overall, my 24 hour experience with the watch has been very positive.
