NFL Week Two Thursday Night Football Browns v Bengals

Thursday Night Football All AFC North Clash – Cincinnati @ Cleveland

The time Thursday, September 17, 2020, the place FirstEnergy Stadium, what’s at stake – well, staying alive in the race for the AFC North. A bit dramatic? Not really given that the Ravens & Steelers both looked good in the opening week and dropping to 0-2 even at this stage probably eliminates you from any hope of the division.  Ok, now we have got that out of the road on to the game its self between two teams who both lost their opener and to be fair didn’t look good in doing so.

The game will hopefully be a shootout between two young gun QBs who were both no one picks in their respective drafts and in Baker Mayfield’s case may be looking at his last chance to live up to the hype. Last week he looked pretty mediocre against the Ravens chucking the ball for 189 yards and managing to throw an interception. Joe Burrows had a similarly uninspiring game but did show a lot of composure in driving his team down the field late only to see the potentially game-tying FG attempt miss.

So who gets the first win on the board? Well for our money the Browns will take it but not by much. They were actually a little better than the beatdown by Baltimore would suggest and we think it might take a few more games before we see the best of Joe Burrow.

Prediction:

Cleveland 28 Cincinnati 21
