This Sunday sees the second last of this seasons London Games and if features the Rams who are technically at home against the winless Bengals. Not the prime time match up which was expected pre-season but still a nice game. The night’s other big games see Green Bay travel to a Mahomes-less Chiefs and the fast-improving Panthers also missing their Star QB visiting the 49ers who remain unbeaten and will be showcasing their latest acquisition, Emmanuel Sanders from the Broncos.
The Green Bay game is big for two reasons, firstly they need the win to keep ahead of Minnesota who took care of Washington on Thursday night, and secondly, the Chiefs will want to show that are not a one man team.
The loss of Cam Newton should have been a blow to the Panthers, however backup QB Kyle Allen has stepped in and played with some aplomb going 4-0. He still has a 100% record as a starter, and if he guides Carolina to a win here it is going to be tricky when Cam is fit again. However that if is a big one as San Francisco have looked very good this year (well apart from last weeks water show against the Redskins). Jimmy Garoppolo hasn’t looked great at QB, but the defense is mean and with another option at Wide Out he should be better.
