The Philadelphia Eagles & Seattle Seahawks have done a player swap involving former 2nd-round draft pick J.J. Arcega-Whiteside. In exchange, the Eagles are receiving safety Ugo Amadi a 4th round pick out of Oregon in 2019.
Ugo Amadi
Amadi figured in 467 games for the Seahawks in his three seasons with them. He looked likely to be cut going into 2022 but the trade allows Philly to offload J.J at no cost. Despite usually coming off the bench Amadi had 42 solo tackles, a forced fumble and an interception in 2021. Not bad given Seattles form 2021. He will compete for the backup role to Anthony Harris at FS in 2022. He can also play Corner and could find a role in special teams too. Although not guaranteed he should make the final 53-man roster.
J.J. Arcega-Whiteside
Arcega-Whiteside never lived up to expectations in Philly and leaves with a resume of 290 yards receiving and one TD. Admittedly he was rarely a starter but it is still a disappointing stat line. Getting a fresh start is what he needs, however, Seattle already has a decent WR corp so his chances could be limited. With DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Freddie Swain, and Marquise Goodwin all ahead of him it may be that Seattle plans to transform him to TE.
Apparently, Philadelphia considered this but given they have depth here he was still surplus. He is listed at 6-2, so has the height but would have to add some bulk if he is to succeed in a blocking role.

What Next
Whatever it looks like both sides will be happy enough with the trade and it will be interesting to see how it pans out. Both teams have preseason games this week. Philadelphia travels to Cleveland while Seattle entertains Chicago. Both players might see the field in those.
