The UK are still struggling to sort out this virus out and to stop the spread of Covid-19. The new Omicron virus has caused a lot of damage to the US and the UK with almost 50% of cases from December being from the new variant. This new variant is known for spreading quickly and spreading far too much, however, the UK may still have a Christmas with family before the PM makes the decision to make the rules stricter.
Another 90,629 people have been infected with Covid-19 on Tuesday and overall now, over 11,000,000 people have been infected with the virus with another 232 people in hospital. There will be new rules added after Christmas as the NHS staff will be getting overwhelmed with the amount of cases that are coming in and the amount of hospitalised from the new variant and from the old one too, it’s a never ending cycle!
With Covid-19 being at its peak yet again, it’s time to prepare for more rules and regulations to be stated from the PM soon as this is going to get out of control if nothing is done about this. Covid-19 will more than likely be treated like the flu once everything is sorted and everything is underway.
