Over the past year, getting vaccinated is the main thing and the main issue that has started to rise, however the issue is now getting worse and worse. Nowadays, everyone is telling everyone to get the new vaccine to prevent the virus from affecting you and to have the vaccine help build your immunity to the virus, however there is a lot of people that are not going to get vaccinated, however now you must be vaccinated but the BBC has now found some strange activity online…
Fraudsters are directing those people who are not vaccinated to a website that can buy Covid-19 passes so they don’t have to get jabbed at all, meaning they can go to nightclubs without being vaccinated, without thinking of being vaccinated, however this is awful for those who don’t get vaccinated due to the virus being extremely deadly. Facebook has seen this and have now said they will remove anything and anyone that is selling any fake passes for Covid-19.
A government spokesperson has said;
“Fraud is a crime and falsifying evidence of Covid-19 status could not only put lives at risk but lead to a £10,000 fine. The NHS Covid Pass is a safe, secure and free way for individuals to share their Covid-19 vaccination record – it includes rigorous security features to minimise the risk of fraud and help organisations authenticate the Covid Pass presented to them. We continue to work closely with law enforcement and partners to tackle online scams, including Covid-19 related fraud.”
