Cristiano Ronaldo: The First Juventus Player In 15 Years To Score In 9 Consecutive Games

Cristiano Ronaldo scores 2 penalties in Juventus’ latest 3-0 win over Fiorentina to take his goal tally to an impressive 10 goals in the last 6 games.

He has also scored 33 goals in 33 games for club and country this season, but this weekend he became even more of a Juventus legend when he became the first Juventus player in 15 years to score in 9 consecutive games, becoming the first player to do so since David Trezeguet in December 2005.

Juve were awarded a penalty for handball in the first half and Ronaldo buried the pen.

Towards the end of the second half Rodrigo Bentancur was fouled inside the box and Ronaldo once again put a penalty past the opposing keeper. Juventus dominated the match, having 75% of possession during the 90 minutes and taking 15 shots, 8 of which were on target.

Juventus are now six points clear from second place Inter Milan, with 54 point in only 22 games.
