Chelsea have been having a lot of defensive errors over the past few weeks in the Premier League. After only winning 2 out of 4 games and almost letting in a goal in each game, there was a massive mistake at the back that Chelsea needed to fill. This is where the new 21 year old defender comes into play! Signing for the club for £70 million.
Fofana has recently joined the club after completing the move from Leicester City. This is a great signing for the English club and could be the solution they needed.

The centre back has made 37 appearances since being in the Premier League and has established himself as a great defender in the league.
“The two last days have been really big for me and I’m very happy, I trained this morning with the team and it’s a dream for me. I’m very excited to start playing games for the fans and the club. I’m here to win trophies – the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, everything. I came here to win and the club is built to win trophies so I’m here to continue that.” he said during an interview.
Fofona was apart of the starting XI that won the FA Cup for the first time against Chelsea in the 2021 final!
