After their transfer ban, Chelsea needed some players. Their season hasn’t been to good and they haven’t had a good shot at any good teams, e.g. Manchester United they lost 4-0, however they have been in talks with some great players since there transfer ban has been lifted! They have been thinking what they need and since Tammy Abraham has been injured so, they are going to aim for a striker. To make sure they win more games after their injury. Who is it that they going to try and sign this year? Neymar? Martinez?
Chelsea are currently in talks with Mertens from Napoli. Mertens is a great player that can cause a lot of damage. Currently doing great in the Series A and could be doing the same in the Premier League. Chelsea will be upgrading from their current best striker but, will they ever use Abraham again if they buy Mertens? Abraham has been there best player so far, alongside Mason Mount. Chelsea will need to find a new starting team if they want to keep Abraham in there!
