Bayern Munich have gone out and decided to sign the Brazilian attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona. Coutinho was on so many clubs transfer lists and looked like the was going to go back to the Premier League, however decided to make his move to the German side. He is currently on a loan to buy deal which could result in him becoming a Bayern player after his long-term loan expires. “For me, this change represents a new challenge in a new country at one of the best clubs in Europe,” Coutinho said.
It’s believed that Bayern are paying £7.78 million to take the Brazilian on loan and also paying his full wage for the duration of the loan spell, with the option to buy the midfielder for £109.84 million after his long-term loan. A lot of fans believe that Coutinho could be the best player in the league when he starts his first match, however where does that leave Lewandowski, Reus and many more talents in the League? Coutinho has been a flop since he joins Barcelona, will this change for when he starts at Bayern.
