The English transfer window almost closed, some teams are aiming to make their big money transfers before time runs out, some teams are going for young stars that will be able to make a big impact in the future of the sports, others are going for older players that have experience, however Arsenal and Spurs have been trying to sign one of the Premier Leagues best players that didn’t shin at Barcelona, Philippe Coutinho! He has been linked and rumoured with many Premier League clubs, however the main few are Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal!
Liverpool were rumoured to be signing the Brazilian midfielder early on in the transfer window, there was a lot of speculation about Coutinho coming back to the Premier League and Liverpool once again, this rumour went for a few week, until Klopp denied all allegations of him trying to resign the midfield and said he wasn’t looking to sign him to the club in an interview! Coutinho would have hoped to join back after losing 4-0 to them!
Spurs have recently made a bid for the Brazilian midfielder and has been rumoured to be close to setting the deal and him signing for them, this would be a huge step up for them since they don’t make many big money transfers however they could have one of the best midfielders on the way, if no other club offer anything better for him…
Arsenal are wanting to sign Coutinho on loan! The Gunners are the frontrunners to sign the young midfielder and could have a great attacking line up if this deal does go through. They have already agreed terms with the Spanish Champions and could be seeing Coutinho in training at some point soon, unless Spurs end up getting him!
