With the first ever Stardew Valley Cup being held and is now over the creator of this farming indie simulator game, Eric Barone has took the time to answer some fan questions about the current game and did briefly discuss his next project in the works.
After the event had ended, Barone answered a dew fan question thanks to the Eurogamer, one of these fan questions led him to address the future of the game Stardew Valley. This lead to him admitting ” I’m not saying there’s going to another Stardew Valley update” he says ” I don’t known at this point. Right now I am focused on my next game. So we’ll see.”
The creator then spoke about his new project before and has confirmed that while it will be set in Stardew Valley, it’s not a farming simulator. But he has said it will be another pixel art game and a top down perspective similar to Stardew Valley. In some ways the game will be similar to Stardew Valley, but it’s not a farming game. It ‘s simply something different. The developer even added that he may announce it fairly soon.
