Love Island’s Maura Higgins has been picked to take part on Dancing On Ice 2020. It was rumoured to be Amber Gill however the producers ended up picking Maura to take part in the show.
Since Love Island finished everyone wanted Maura back on their TV screens and now she is back on the screen with some ice skates.
The Dancing on Ice Twitter page first released teaser pics which showed a part of the contestants and after one close look fans realised one was Maura. They rushed to the comments to give their guess as Maura Higgins and were excited for her new TV role.

Maura appeared live on This Morning to reveal the news. She said: “I’ve skated twice in my life just for fun, so I’ve no experience at all.
“I’m up for the challenge. I’m more excited than scared. I’m brave and competitive so I think that will drive me.”
Since leaving Love Island Maura has found herself TV role of the agony aunt on This Morning and she secured a fashion deal with Boohoo.
