Dwayne Johnson was the highest paid actor of last year according to Forbes annual rankings. He has moved from his second placing of last year. Last year’s number one actor George Clooney has dropped out of the top 10.

The list includes celebrities overall earning including brand endorsements. Johnson endorsements include Under Armour sportswear.
Johnson, aka Rock, has topped the list as he has earned $89.4m in the last year. In the last year he starred in Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, Skyscraper and has produced films like Fighting with My Family and Shazam!. He will also star in Jumanji next year.
The earnings are counted from June 1st 2017, and June 1st 2018 before any fees and taxes are removed.
