Spoilers for Spiderman No Way Home! If you haven’t watched it and don’t want it spoiled, look away! All may have there reasons just what I saw and my opinions, if any is wrong state in the comments! For other content on Spiderman click here!
Spiderman: No Way Home was by far one of the biggest movies in marvel history. Bringing back old Spiderman villains, bringing back the other two Spiderman’s and even having a great storyline to go along with it. However I have been thinking about the plot of the movie and others about it, and some stuff don’t add up… But not at all thinking this is a bad movie, just some stuff.
The Spell: Electro!
The movie is based on the spell, with the spell failing and causing a lot of old villains to enter the MCU from other universes, for example Doc Ock, Green Goblin and Sandman, pretty much the ones who know that Spiderman is Peter Parker.
One villain stands out the most when picking apart this movie and was even confirmed in the movie, however no one released it. How does Electro from The Amazing Spiderman 2 know who Spiderman is when nothing was said about him knowing? It is said that everyone who knows Spiderman entered the MCU, for example, Sandman found out at the end of Spiderman 3.
Electro could not of known who Spiderman was. Harry Osborn didn’t know until the end of The Amazing Spiderman 2, Electro even said at the end he didn’t know he was just a kid. So how did he enter the universe?
It is said, that Electro knew who Peter was, just not who is was. It is said that when he went into the electrical grid, he found out that Peter Parker was Spiderman, he just didn’t know who Peter Parker was.
The Spell: What the spell was meant to do!
In the movie, we see that the spell was meant to make everyone forget that Peter Parker was Spiderman to begin with, meaning that everyone in the world would forget that Peter Parker was Spiderman, but that shouldn’t mean everyone should forget who Peter Parker was. They would only forget that he was Spiderman.
The spell may of worked differently and may not of been able to work in that way and meant that everyone would forget Peter Parker in the process however if this isn’t true, that means everyone would forget that Peter Parker is Spiderman and still remember him, just not everything about him being Spiderman.
The way this spell could of changed is that there was no way to make everyone forget Peter Parker was Spiderman without forgetting that Peter Parker was a person, therefore he had to erase the memory of everything. To ensure the multiverse stay normal.
Once the spell worked at the end: MJ and Ned!
At the end of the film, everyone forgets that Peter Parker was Spiderman and forgets who Peter Parker is, meaning no one who loved him will remember him and or no one who knew him will now know him, however there is one part that could be used in the next movie, however this could of changed the way everyone looks at the movie.
Once Ned and MJ forget who Peter Parker is, there could be a way for them to understand who he is again. Surely, one of them will have photos of Peter Parker with them, or even his phone number and then this could of been an indication that they really do know him!
Overall this could be debunked by them thinking that he was the weird one in High School and just deleting everything from there phones, however this could be apart of the next movie and they may remember what happened.
All of these are just theories and may not be true, however Spiderman: No Way Home is a must watch! However all of these may not be true and is just everything I thought about recently! To see how I would produce Spiderman 4… Click here!
