The Side Effects Of Vaccines

By this point it’s well known that vaccines do more good than harm.

But there is still a small (but growing) group of people that believe vaccines cause debilitating illnesses, disabilities and more. Vaccines work by creating “memory cells” that remember how best to fight a certain illness. For example, in a lab they will take a disease that needs a vaccine, and either break it apart so it can cause no harm to the host, or create a “lookalike” disease that tricks the body into thinking it’s under attack. This the basic concept of vaccines. The problems and accusations arise from a single paper from the 90’s which has been proven wrong multiple times.

There are going to be people who are allergic to vaccines, so it’s important we form something called herd immunity. Herd immunity is the concept of 9/10 people in a group being immune to a disease, making it unable to spread beyond the 1 person vulnerable to it. That’s why it’s so important that everyone that can be vaccinated is vaccinated. By being vaccinated you’re not only putting yourself at risk, but other people too who have no choice but to refuse vaccines.
